The crowning glory of the remarkable New Guinea impatiens is their balance between rich, luscious foliage and abundant, lively blooms. They offer compact and uniform colour with great branching, and will last for several years if protected from frost. They prefer a sheltered and partly shaded position, but will tolerate both full sun and shade. The New Guinea hybrids are proving resistant to the strain of downy mildew that is affecting the bedding impatiens.
The vibrant colours of the New Guinea impatiens look wonderful either mixed and matched or grown in a mass display of single colours. There is a huge range of colours to choose from - more than 20 different shades.
