The Cape Bonsai Kai invites you to join in its 40th anniversary celebrations in September. The Kai will be having Bonsai Master Budi Sulistyo, of Jakarta, Indonesia, as its special guest, and he will be sharing his knowledge through two demonstrations and two workshops.

Award-winning Budi Sulistyo is a pioneer of bonsai in his country. He began bonsai in 1976 and started teaching in 1984. He gives seminars and teaches throughout his country and on national television.

Workshops

Workshop applicants should register prior to 29 August 2010 as space is limited. As we wish to ensure workshop trees are of a reasonable standard, all trees will be vetted. Applicants will be advised whether or not their trees have been accepted, with unsuccessful applications being refunded. If applicants do not live in the greater Cape Town area, they should send or email 2 photos of their tree – front and back view – together with their registration.
