Indigenous Plant Fair on Behalf of Drummond Conservancy

June 24, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Drummond Conservancy holds an Indigenous Plant Fair, usually twice a year, in Winter (June) and Spring/Summer (October/early November). This will be our 5th Plant Fair.
The Fair is held in a private garden, at the home of Cherie and Bruce Barrett. Cherie, herself is in the Nursery, landscaping business.
We have approximately 9 – 10 suppliers who provide us with plants on a regular basis. The plants are all very reasonably priced as these Fairs are fundraisers so that the Conservancy can continue with its work trying to rid the area of aliens, clearing the streams running through the area, and where possible returning the area to the grassland it once was.
Info on the day:
– Plants, plants, plants!
– Live music, a tea and cake garden, refreshments and light meals.
– Fresh produce table which is supported by our local home producers.
– Raffle with wonderful prizes.
– Credit card facilities available
– No entry fee and ample safe parking.
Any questions regarding the Fair should be directed to either Cherie Barrett 082 354 9484 or our Secretary Felicity on 083 777 9430.
