Trevor and Kate Thurston, Underberg

This old established garden surrounds the home of one of the first settler families of Underberg. The garden was designed by Trevor’s parents, Len and Rosemary, and is full of large azaleas, rhododendrons and trees! Len’s penchant for stones and rocks is shown in the terraces and the water feature. Complete novices in gardening, Trevor and Kate have taken up the challenge to try and restore the garden to its original beauty. A work in progress!

Directions: Take the first Coleford Road out of Underberg travelling on the R617 to Bulwer. Turn right. 1km down dirt road turn right through pillars.
