Renishaw Hills Winter Garden Walks

July 13, 2019 @ 9:00 am - July 14, 2019 @ 4:00 pm

Located within the Mpambanyoni Conservation Development on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, the Renishaw Hills land – originally used for sugar cane farming – is being rehabilitated into its natural indigenous estate. Renishaw Hills now boasts some of the area’s most captivating indigenous flora and fauna consisting of coastal forests, biodiverse wetlands, and the most incredible ocean views.

Visitors will now get the chance to immerse themselves in a beautiful landscape of this mature lifestyle village on Saturday, 13 and Sunday, 14 July as the Botanical Society of South Africa hosts its Winter Gardens at Renishaw Hills. All proceeds raised on the day will go towards the Botanical Society of South Africa KZN Coastal Branch.

For those wanting to learn more about the plants and how to maintain their gardens, Elsa Pooley will lead three daily guided walks through the estate, showcasing examples of newly-planted gardens as well as the more established two-year-old gardens.
