It is this commitment that led to it being named the Best Garden Centre in South Africa at the annual South African Nursery Association (SANA) Awards that took place in June. The company also walked away with a string of other awards including first place for Best Inspirational Displays and Best Retailer in Limpopo among other awards.

However, this is not the first time that Greener Tidings Garden Centre has been recognised at the SANA Awards. According to Lizzy Alenroxel, co-owner at Greener Tidings, “We strive to make every customer interaction memorable by providing a personal touch in every customer engagement from phone conversations with customers to the personal advice we give in-store.”

The store is constantly buzzing as new displays are built and gardens created to showcase the latest trends. “While we aspire to keep up with gardening trends from across the country, often our team will develop gardening ideas which are more suitable to the needs of our customers, “adds Alenroxel. “In essence, we have found that our clients prefer practical and simple ideas that they can easily achieve in their own gardens.”
