The Johannesburg South Garden Club, established in 1973, holds meetings on the third Saturday and last Tuesday of every month except December. Meetings take the form of talks by guest speakers on gardening related topics as well as visits to various places of gardening interest. Our Saturday meetings also include a competition table where members can exhibit their plants / flowers. These exhibits are judged, points awarded and a prize is awarded annually for the various section winners. Our “home base” is The Geelhout Room, Klipriviersberg Recreation Centre, Peggy Vera Road, Kibler Park and the club is open to all age groups, why not come along and enjoy fellowship with other gardeners.
