This amazing compact form of Egyptian Papyrus boasts the same giant “mop heads” we love, but on sturdy compact stems no more than 1 – 1,2 m tall. Due to their smaller stature they are ideally suited smaller gardens and ponds and can make a stunning standalone specimen in a large pot, yet their fantastic, bold form makes them stand out even in the landscape. Little Giant Papyrus grows best in full sun to light shade in moist soil or shallow water. Moderately frost hardy to around -4° C, protect in colder areas. Prune back after winter and fertilize to encourage lush new growth.
